When I first met Erika and Will, it was for a family session with her family on Lake Tapps. About a week later, we met again to photograph their Engagement. We shot a few photographs on Lake Tapps, then went to the Puyallup Fair to wrap up their exceptional session. Erika 'the girl in the pink sparkly dress' was absolutely stunning. In September 2011, they were planning their wedding to be in the backyard of their home. The amount of work it was taking for them to ensure things would be perfect for their special day was more than they had expected.
A few months later, they decided to go in a new direction and chose to celebrate their wedding at The Kelley Farm. I was ecstatic because I've always wanted to photograph a wedding in such a serene, natural atmosphere. They could have not chosen a more spectacular setting for such a beautiful couple to experience one of the most memorable days of their lives. I knew this would be the wedding of their dreams and absolutely perfect in every way.

The most amazing thing about Erika's dress is that she is a 3rd Generation Bride to wear the gown. Her grandmother and mom both wore the dress for their weddings and now Erika. She had the gown modernized and altered at Luly Yang in Seattle and they did such a phenomenal job!
Their 'first glance' was perfect! Will seeing his beautiful bride for the first time and the way his face lit up and Erika trying her hardest to not start bawling so her makeup wouldn't be ruined..was priceless.
Look at this vintage jewelry! All pieced together from Erika and her mom researching online but it all came together perfectly! Absolutely stunning!
Kristal with Sublime Stems couldn't of done a more phenomenal job on the flowers!! They were absolutely stunning and so unique, which was the perfect compliment to Erika's personality!
I absolutely loved that although all the girls were in the same color, they had different dress styles. There were 3 different styles and each one flattered the girl's figure perfectly!

Krista from Wishes! Wedding and Event Planning is simply amazing. Her team went above and beyond by not only having everything perfectly setup but also to help with the transition of the day as it unfolded. If you're looking for an event planner, I highly recommend them!!
Every time I look at the ceremony images, I hear Will's voice saying, "Keep it together Erika." He knew how emotional his bride was but at the same time, it was beautiful to see how much she truly loves her husband.

When looking at this image, look at the beautiful table linens. They were each hand made by a family friend of Erika's, who spent hours sewing and hemming each one to perfection!!
The guest book table had her grandmother's wedding images on display and it was so neat to look at them and see the dress that her family has carried down through generations.
Check out this cake from Creme da la Creme in Renton. The exquisite detail of the sugar flowers were stunning and unless you looked up close, you would think they were fake. Double bonus, excellent flavor!!
Look at that wagon wheel! Those pearl beaded chandeliers were hand made by Erika. They were all over the barn and they definitely were the perfect addition to her beautiful decor!

The first dance is always such an memorable moment and it's even cooler when you know that the couple took lessons to prepare for their debut as husband & wife. Well done guys!

For a late September wedding, they couldn't of asked for better weather. It truly was the most perfect day in every aspect possible. The perfect ending was a beautiful full moon right above the venue for romantic lighting.
Congratulations Will & Erika and thank you for selecting me to be apart of your magical day!
